Kosuke Hayashi is one of the leading background artists at Studio Ghibli in Tokyo. This painting depicts the view from Riekeles Gallery — with the shop window on the right — towards St. Nicholas Church in Potsdam. Hayashi created the work after returning to Tokyo in the summer of 2025 after attending the opening of his exhibition at Riekeles Gallery. We are very grateful for this wonderful gift and happy to share it with you.
