Nizo Yamamoto: Master of Anime Scenography, the first comprehensive exhibition outside Japan dedicated to art director Nizō Yamamoto, presents around 120 original works at the S. Tchoban Foundation, Berlin, including his backgrounds for Castle in the Sky, Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
Scene 316 shows the Forest of the Deer God in Princess Mononoke. The panorama was designed for a slow camera pan that reveals the extent of the Forest Spirit's realm. We’re proud to present our Solegraph Edition of this masterpiece.
