Custom built hanging system by Andreas Mass

A clay rendering of the individual pieces which Andreas Mass developed for the hanging system. These parts are all 3D printed by Andreas and delivered to us directly.

It is the quality of our prints that sets us apart and we strive to find new and innovative ways to showcase our pieces. Our posters are lithographic prints on Magno Volume paper with a satin texture and finish.

In the past we received quite many requests to offer the posters framed. However, there are two problems with this. The first being the pragmatic obstacle of the enormous effort for shipping glass frames in formats of 70 x 50 cm which would render most deliveries economically ineffective. In most cases it is much better and much cheaper to find a framing studio near you. However, that’s an additional task on your side before you can enjoy your new art work. The second issue is that even a high-grade museum glass takes away from the paper’s true texture.

Our first customer who wanted posters on an aluminum composite panel was Andreas Mass. We were delighted to be able to supply him with the first set in 2022. He received the simple panels with our laminated posters. These looked nice, but they were not yet hanging on the wall. Andreas, a visual 3D artist by day and a 3D printing demon by night, developed his own solution which he was actively refining as a future commercial offering. When he first showed me pictures of the hanging system he had developed, I was fascinated by the precision of the work and his obvious attention to detail. I thought that his work would fit in very well with ours. Not only did Andreas further customize parts of the system just for us but at least currently this clever hanging system is only available from Riekeles Gallery. Like us, Andreas is an avid fan of Japanese culture and art. We are very proud and happy to be able to share his innovative approach with you.
